When should I book a newborn session?
It's best to reserve your spot on my calendar at least a couple months prior to your due date. Newborns are best photographed within 2 weeks after birth, and I normally do not have any last minute availability if you wait until after the baby is born to contact me about a session.
What days and times do you do newborn sessions?
Newborn sessions are scheduled for mornings on Monday-Friday only. I do not do newborn sessions in the afternoon or evening because babies tend to become more easily agitated and fussy later in the day. Due to the extra time that newborns require and scheduling conflicts with other sessions, I am not able to do newborn sessions on weekends.
Where is your studio located?
My studio is located in Grove Oak, Alabama, next door to the beautiful Buck's Pocket State Park.
Are props and outfits provided?
Yes! I have a vast selection of newborn items in my closet. Unless you have special props or personal items you wish to incorporate, there's no need to worry about bringing anything like that to your session.
Are family and sibling images included?
Yes! Parent and sibling images are included during the session if desired.
How many setups are included?
For most newborn sessions, there are about 3 baby-only setups + parent and sibling poses. For baby-only sessions (where no parent or sibling images are done), there are usually about 6 setups.
What is the best age for a newborn session?
The ideal time frame for a session is when baby is between 7-10 days old.
